Onifiditi of Fiditi, Oba Oyelere Oyewole Sakirudeen lost his mother Alhaja. Sidikat Abeke Oyelere (a.k.a Iya Wole).
In a statement by one of the deceased’s sons, Prince Oyeleowo Oyelere made this announcement to African Development Magazine.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother (Alh. Sidikat Oyelere). Who peacefully left this world earlier today July 17, 2023.
“She was not only a devoted muslim mother but also a cherished friend to many. Her nurturing spirit and loving presence extended far beyond her immediate family, as she selflessly offered support and guidance to those around her.”
“While we grieve her loss deeply, we find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace. Her love and memory will continue to guide us through the difficult days ahead” Oyelowo said
She will be buried today July 18, 2023 according to Islamic rites @ASU Palace. Fiditi.
May her soul rest in peace.
