With the recent proclamation by the Nigeria Pilgrimage Board and Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) and Christian Pilgrims preparing to perform the first exercise in 2021, popular Gospel singer, Tope Alabi has advised Christians to include a visit to the Kingdom of Jordan for a complete pilgrim’s rite.

Tope Alabi who is an Ambassador to the destination management firm, Ufitfly and foremost travel agent in Nigeria for pilgrim package disclosed this during the unveiling event of Pilgrimage to Kingdom of Jordan, which was designed to covers both ‘old and new testament Pilgrimage’, held yesterday.

Alabi explains that “Pilgrimage to Israel is a new testament Pilgrimage exercise, while Pilgrimage to Kingdom of Jordan covers both old and new testament Pilgrimage and for a Christian to fully perform holy Christian Pilgrimage exercise, such Christian must visit Jordan on holy Pilgrimage exercise”.

She added that “the activities of the children of Israel on their way to the promised land and few of Jesus activities are in the present day Kingdom of Jordan; thereby I will implore you to join me and Ufitfly by 13th to 20th September for the pilgrimage to the Holy Kingdom of Jordan”.

While further explaining the Biblical sites in Jordan which make a visit to the city as a necessity for a complete Christian pilgrim, the gospel musician composer and actress added she will take intending pilgrims with her to that point where Prophet Elijah was taken up by chariot of fire which is in 1 king 2 verses 1-18.

“Mount Nebo where Moses stood to view the Promised Land. (Deut 32 vs 48-52), place where Moses raised his staff to save the children of Israel from snake bite (Num 21vs9), Gadara where Jesus commanded the unclean spirits out of the two mad men to enter swine, River Jordan the original place of Jesus baptismal site and the place where John was ordered to be beheaded are places we shall visit together with Ufitfly”, She added.
